A few of us ate here for lunch. It was very crowded and we were displeased with the service. There was, however, a large selection of pizzas and pastas and the food was decent.
We ate here after the circus and enjoyed Alsacien cuisine. Our waiter, Teddy, was very friendly and told us about popular French rap music and trendy nightclubs. We ate oysters, sausages, escargots (snails), duck, and au gratin potatoes. For dessert, we ate galette des rois, chocolate cake, and chocolate crepes.
Here we had a traditional French meal from start to finish. Even though we spent four hours at dinner, not everyone needs to take that long. We tried some very interesting foods such as escargot (snails), marrow, and fois gras (liver). We were also introduced to strong French cheeses. Epoisse cheese has an odor that can be smelled from across the room, but a few of us actually liked it.
Just steps from the Bastille Metro stop, this Japanese/Korean restaurant features a mini-barbecue grill at each table. Our group had a lot of fun grilling our own dinner. The atmosphere is fun and interactive. The delicious sushi menu here also includes a wide selection. The best part about this restaurant is its prices - the barbecue selection at just 12.50 euros included a bowl of rice, miso soup, and a plate of fresh meat ready to be grilled!

Metro: Trocadero
After watching a dazzling light show of the Eiffel Tower from Trocadero, we walked a few steps to a nearby restaurant called Trocadero. We sat in a cozy, little corner and had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. We ate duck, onion soup, ravioli, sole, and salad. For desert we tried a dessert called “damnation” which was chestnut sauce, chocolate syrup, and fresh cream. We also ate mango sorbet. Although the food was good, the waiters rushed our meal.
