On our tour of the Pantheon we also had the opportunity to step inside the high school Henry IV, one of the most prestigious high schools in France.  We entered the courtyard and could tell it was older than any school we’d ever seen in the U.S. It was built in the year 502, but was first used as an abbey for monks.  Now, 2,500 of France’s top students attend the school.
