Sarah describes the EPA grant that the Philadelphia Water Department
got in collaboration with the Mill Creek Coalition and Sulzberger
Middle School. Combining landscape improvements, community development,
and education expanded the scope of the Water Department's work, and
required adjustment Sarah reflects on the challenges she encountered
coordinating the initial phase of the EPA grant.

Joanne tells about her recent work coordinating a project with
Sulzberger Middle School and the Mill Creek Coalition through an EPA
storm water management grant. The project resulted in the creation of a
watershed garden that combined environmental education with storm
