An initiative of the pioneer batch of SMA graduates, the SMA Alumni Club (SMAAC) was officially registered on 16 October 2000 with the intention to build a strong and vibrant network connecting students, graduates and professors. Currently, elected alumni representatives from the various programmes have been inducted into the 5th Management Committee and the membership stands at 118 consisting of 11 Life, 53 Ordinary and 54 Associate members.
Professional as well as leisure activities are specially organised by the SMAAC in order to create networking opportunities among its members.
SMAAC plays a major role in welcoming foreign students and facilitating their transition into Singapore before the start of the academic year. It also links them up with other alumni. It has a pool of dedicated students who work closely with the management committee, forming an important conduit for the student population to communicate their views.
The activities that were organised in the past year included the Networking Event, SMAAC Night Tour, Project Rainbow, Career Sharing Session, Annual General Meeting, Annual Bowling Competition, and Entrepreneurship Sharing and Networking Nite.
