Transportation
The “T”
Boston has one of the oldest mass transit systems in the country. It is operated by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) and usually is known as the “T". The "T" runs daily service on buses, trains, and trolleys throughout Boston and surrounding towns. The stations can be identified by a black "T" on a white circular sign. Tokens are $1.25 each and are available at any stations. Bus fare is $0.90, exact change.Monthly, weekly and daily passes are also available. For more information, go to: http://www.mbta.com/

Shuttles
MIT operates a free weekday shuttle service from 7:15am to 7:15pm around campus called the Tech Shuttle. It circles the perimeter of MIT from Westgate to Sloan.
