The Centre Pompidou contains Paris's largest collection of modern and contemporary art. The Big Bang was its featured exhibit when we were there. The Pompidou building itself merits a visit. Constructed with all the conventional building innards on the outside, including plumbing and heating pipes, escalators and elevators, it stands out drastically from the surrounding architecture. However, from afar, its carefully designed height allows it to blend in perfectly with the neighborhood. You'd never know it's there!
