297 applications for the IMST programme were received for the 2003/2004 intake, out of which 52 offers were made to prospective students. 37 of these offers were accepted, mostly by candidates from China. In addition to candidates from India, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia, 2 of the applicants came from Philippines and Thailand. In the year 2002/2003, a total of 324 applications were received.
