A range of projects in the humanities and social sciences along with on-line tools for education and research will be presented.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hyperstudio.mit.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">HyperStudio website<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Statement of the problem or issue<\/h2>\n<p>How can new digital media and collaboration technologies foster new modes of teaching, learning and research?<\/p>\n<h2>Description of activity, project, solution, and outcome<\/h2>\n<p>Projects ranging from cross-cultural understanding, diplomatic history, serial novels, and French theater will be shown.<\/p>\n<p>Importance or relevance to other faculty, staff, students, departments, and programs<\/p>\n<p>All HyperStudio tools for education and research are developed as modular open-source components that can be reused and adapted for a range of different topics and fields.
