 Simulation: Adsorption of a phantom polymer (random walk) to an attractive edge/corner on a square lattice:

Boltzmann weight  w  on boundary sites:

 In a continuum limit, the corner and edge may correspond to different potentials!

 To explore the entire range in continuum, the strength  v  of the Boltzmann weight of the corner must be varied.
