Information Needed to Complete Event Registration

Before you start using Atlas, you need to know the following:

• Who the MIT sponsor is
  • Must be an ASA or Sloan-recognized student organization, a MIT living group, or MIT department
• Your event host
  • Must be a MIT individual from the MIT organization sponsoring the event
  • Must be responsible for the event and will be present at the event for its duration
  • If alcohol is being served, must be 21 or older and agrees not to drink at the event
• Your reserved space (have your confirmation ready to attach); please note in CAC spaces, this document would have a “tentative” status since event registration has not been completed
• The expected attendance of your event
• Be able to answer questions in reference to:
  • Live entertainment
  • Alcohol
  • Cash transactions at event
  • Safety
  • Minors (not MIT students) at the event
  • Parking
  • Food
  • Tents
  • Dignitaries
