I want to be sure I have a complete list of all those who will be coming to the Cartel meeting so, as you commit, could you drop me a line with all the names and e-mails from your site. I'll use these e-mail addresses for updates that the main Cartel@MIT list isn't interested in.
We have 10 rooms reserved at the Sheraton Inn Ann Arbor for the nights of June 23 & 24 at a rate of $79.00/night. Guests need to make their reservation before June 10th by calling either (313) 996-0600 or (800) 848-2770 and mentioning group code: CARTEL.
If you decide to book elsewhere, or stay with friends, or whatever, let Larisa or me know if you need directions to the CITI building.
You should fly into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), which is about 25 miles from Ann Arbor. The airport commuter is $15.00 one way or we could set up a special pickup by the hotel. The Sheraton has been very good in the past about shuttling people between the hotel and other places in town, once you're here.
If you decide to rent a car, let us know and we will send you directions from the airport to the hotel.
I'll be working on a detailed work agenda in the next few days but wanted to note here, on the fun side, that we were giving thought to catering in lunches (deli sandwiches and pop, etc) and doing dinners out, if that is acceptable to all. I'm assuming we'll work two eight hour days, finishing around 5pm on the Thursday. I know at least one person will be heading over to MacHack that evening.
