Cornell [1 person]

  Since the last Cartel meeting in November, my chief connection with Kerberos has been to be the K5 "guinea pig" for Cornell. I did a build, making all the mistakes before the real Kerberos support folks got around to doing it for real. We (Cornell, not me personally) are going to be converting our slave servers to K5.
  
  At present I'm looking into how hard it would be to port KClient to K5. People at other institutions have been overheard saying it would be "very difficult" or "nearly impossible" and I need to know what they were referring to. Maybe it has to do with multiple user support.

  Honeyman has been instrumental in several software projects, including Honey DanBer UUCP, PathAlias, MacNFS, and Disconnected AFS. His research focus is on security in distributed systems and distributed file systems for mobile computing.

  I've been working with MIT on their 32 bit DLLs for MS Windows. And our group (Windows Infrastructure) is working on how to deploy the MIT stuff and the stuff Allan has written.

  Much of my work deals with Kerberos issues; experience with Kerberos programming Kerberization of the following on the ITD Login, Lab, and Statistical computation services: xdm, xlock, login, ftpd, sshd, pine, etc.
- Nathan Binkert
  I did the WIN32 version of the kerberos plugin for netscape and I will be doing the WIN16 port of it as well. I will also be doing general work on smart cards and work on storing security information on them (keys) and I may be involved in the single sign on for NT project.
- Gavin Eadie, Pest!
  Gavin has worked at UMich for 18 years on a variety of projects from PDP-11 terminal front end processors to LDAP software for Macs, stopping off somewhere in the middle for 5 years of management and all sorts of other fun and games.
